Belonging to Cochrane means that I am connected to an invisible network of people who are united through hope and shared experience.
— Joyce Blunden

We always look forward to welcoming new members, who bring new energy and ideas to our church. We always welcome new members, and hope they find a home here at Cochrane Street.

You can become a member of Cochrane Street United Church through confirmation, adult baptism, transfer of membership from another church (United or other), or by profession of faith.

Members of Cochrane Street United Church support the ongoing mission and ministry of our church. Members gifts of time, talent, and financial resources enable us to care for each other and for others in the world around us. In The United Church of Canada, only members are permitted to vote on matters regarding pastoral relationships (The Minister), elections of the Church Council, property matters, and motions regarding changing the structure of the church.

However, you are always welcome to participate in our programs and activities at Cochrane Street United Church even if you are not a member. Everyone is welcome to be active participants in the life and work of Cochrane Street as either a member or an adherent.

If you and/or your family would like to become members of our congregation, please contact the church office using the form below.
