A Celebration of Light

A candle to celebrate, a candle to remember, a candle to pray.
The period of Advent is almost here, and Cochrane Street United Church is inviting you to join us when our sanctuary will glow in a celebration of candlelight and music on Sunday, November 26th at 7:00 pm. We invite you to purchase a candle(s) to celebrate the lives of loved ones, or as a tribute to the death of a loved one or friend. Candles may also be purchased to celebrate an anniversary, a birthday, marriage or baptism, or just to wish your friends and neighbours or family who live away a blessed and safe upcoming Advent and Christmas season. Perhaps you would like to purchase a candle with a wish for Peace or just for a special prayer known only to you. The service will also include a list of all donors, recipients and messages.
Candles can be purchased by filling out the form below. Please indicate by November 23rd if you will be paying via e-transfer sent to csuctreasurer@gmail.com or by mail to 81 Cochrane Street, St. John’s, NL A1C 3L7.
