Spring Flowers — May 29th
Spring is here! Cochrane Street United Church is inviting you to join us in celebrating our return to Spring with flowers and music on Sunday, May 29th at 11:00 AM. We invite you to purchase a carnation(s) to celebrate the lives of loved ones, or as a tribute to the death of a loved one or friend. Carnations may also be purchased to celebrate an anniversary, a birthday, marriage or baptism, or just to wish your friends and neighbours a safe and joyous summer during this 2’nd pandemic year. Anyone can purchase one or more carnations, and all are invited to our service of fellowship, reflection and celebration when these carnations and our voices will fill our sanctuary. The carnations will be put in vases and after the service will be distributed to our seniors’ homes or to some of our own congregation shut-ins for their continued enjoyment while the flowers bloom. The service will also include a list of all donors, recipients and messages.
Carnations can be purchased by filling out the form below or using the form sent to you and dropping it in the collection plate with your payment. You can also mail the form along with your payment to Cochrane Street United Church, 81 Cochrane Street, St. John’s NL A1C3L7. You can also e-transfer your purchase at csuctreasurer@gmail.com
